Anonymous asked: Is it just me or biphobia happens in both the gay and straight community?

There are many people who have experienced biphobia in both the gay and straight community. In fact, there is a lot of prejudice, in general, in the world. This is because not all people have gone through the same experiences, and we all have different opinions on things regardless of our race, sexuality, gender, etc. Just because a person may be gay doesn’t mean that they’ll be understanding towards your sexuality. This a stereotype of the gay community that is incredibly misleading. Just because a group of people undergo similar struggles, does not mean they will all react similarly. 

In no way do I mean that it makes prejudice of any kind acceptable. I am simply saying that prejudice can happen in all different groups of people, which is truly unfortunate.
