Anonymous asked: Do you feel it is absolutely necessary to label sexuality? For the most part I feel that people don't have to know what I do behind closed doors. I'm more than my bisexuality. It's difficult sometimes because people want to figure you out. And there is this whole notion of "Oh she likes both? She's a lesbian but she's on her way out of the closet." Or there's this notion that because I'm female & sexually attracted to both I'm "easy" or "experimenting" or some other bs that crosses ppls minds.

Honestly, it’s up to each person to figure out how they feel about labels and their sexuality. If a person chooses not to use a label, then we should respect that. If they choose to use a label, then we should also respect that. There is no right or wrong way to be who you are. So do what is best for you and what is most comfortable. Also, it’s important to remember that you aren’t stuck to your decision for life. You are more than allowed to change your mind/opinion at any time and alter the label or non-label you’ve chosen for yourself.

I hope that helps.
